Chess Instruction:

Rate: $40 per hour

Description: I am a big believer of teaching students how to think correctly about chess. Many chess teachers simply look at the students games and show them what mistakes he/she made. While this can be useful, many times players make mistakes because they are thinking about the position incorrectly. My goal is to teach you EXACTLY what goes through my head when I look at a position. What order I calculate variations, what I calculate, what positional ideas I consider, etc. If you learn the underlying process of how strong players think, then you'll make fewer mistakes in ALL chess positions.

7 Card Stud Instruction

Rate: $50 per hour

Description: I played Seven Card Stud for a living for 3 years. I've played close to a million stud hands online (I often play 6-8 tables at a time). If you want to learn how to play stud, or perhaps you want to add it to your poker repetoire, I can help you get on the right track. The lessons work best after a student has played a session of 7 card stud. We can then go over the hands you played and I can show you where you made any mistakes.

NL Hold'em SNG Intruction

Rate: $75 per hour

Description: I have been one of the top Sit N' Go players on Pokerstars for the last 3 years, consistently making the Sharkscope top 20. I specialize in 9 man 1 table tournaments, but can also help you with 6 max or 18/27 man SNGs. I try to work with students to get them on the right track for thinking and improving their play on their own. I will show you how to think about the game and will introduce you to the best tools to use in order to take your game to the highest level.
