Chess Player Analysis Page is Up and Running!
Hey All!
Sorry for my infrequent blogging this past week, I’ve been working on this player analysis page, which is finally complete! I’m sure you guys will enjoy it!
I rank each player on the list in different categories and list their strengths/weaknesses. I try to put an amusing story, usually a personal anecdote I had with that player. Then finally, I dedicated a song to each player on the list. To go to the Player Analysis page, just click the link on the navigation panel.
I will be adding more players to the list in the days to come, I have about 20 players up there right now, but I’m sure I can think of another 20 or 30 people. The only criteria to being on the list is that you must be 2000+ USCF, and I have to be able to find a picture of you!
If you aren’t on this list, and would like to get on it, please send me a good picture of yourself playing chess and an amusing chess story. You can request a specific song for your page, but I reserve the right to put whatever I want for that…. You can use my contact form to send me the relevant information.
I’ve got an instructional piece for the website in the works too, should be ready in the next couple days, or maybe not with the holidays and everything! Anyways, stay tuned!
Cool. Free evaluations, similar to what I suppose you would do if starting out giving lessons (not like these players need it). Now I have even more incentive to make 2000 — so I can get my own BB eval! –HG

I stayed up until the wee hours of the morn going through the player pages, listening to all the good music (I thought the songs were going to be of your own creation. Not that they’re mutually exclusive. LOL.). Well done! Often before I got to the reason for the song picks, I’d already be laughing, or what have you, in agreement as it kicked in while viewing the photo. Speaking of which, you’ve got to have a better one than that of the attractive Vicary. But, it fits the music!
Now to get myself BACK into the Expert class, so you can bag on me. Rock on.
